Match mini-cams to your main cameras
Productions avoid mini-cams because the colour mismatch with the main cameras costs more than the angle gains. That is a control problem, not a sensor problem.

The shot that announces itself
A basket-mounted or goal-mounted camera that does not match is a cut the director avoids. So the position gets dropped from the plan, and the rig it would have justified never gets bought.
The economics are the second blocker: if every specialty position needs its own control chain, the budget dies before the rig is ordered.

Same vocabulary, per-position cost
The mini-cam is shaded with the same parameters and the same scales as the main cameras, and VP4 corrects at signal level where camera-side control is not enough.
CI0 is the per-camera interface and one RCP covers many cameras, with licence tiers up to 128 devices. The cost sits at infrastructure level rather than panel level.
What this actually buys you
Cut without hesitation
The angle is available to the director because the picture holds up.
Volume deployment
Dozens of positions on one control estate.
Proven at scale
Super Bowl LVII ran 30 field feeds under Cyanview control.
Signal-level backstop
Where the mini-cam gives you nothing, VP4 does the rest.
“NEP Group is well known as being among the most demanding in the broadcast industry… the solution from CyanView and Dream Chip allows us to deliver outstanding image quality that we do not believe we could have obtained elsewhere.”

Does your show look like this?
Send the mini-cam models and what they need to match. You will get an answer from an engineer, including the parts we cannot do.
