Shade cameras that ship with no CCU
Cinema, mirrorless and specialty bodies ship with no camera control unit, no broadcast connector, and sometimes no documented protocol. They still have to match the rest of the show.

The body was never designed to be shaded
A RED V-Raptor has no 12-pin Hirose on the body and no PL lens control over Cooke /i for iris and focus or zoom. A GoPro exposes no camera control protocol at all. A Sony FX6 exposes no black level control — a manufacturer limitation, not ours.
For a rental house this is not an aesthetic problem. A camera that cannot be shaded is a camera that cannot be put on a multicam show, which means it cannot be rented for one.

Two paths: convert the control, or correct the signal
CI0 converts serial-based cameras to IP — RS232, RS422, RS485, LANC, Sony legacy 8-pin, VISCA, S.BUS for gimbals, B4 lens protocols, DMX — with PoE+ delivering power onward to the camera. Where the body itself is closed, a bridge through a third-party lens controller is engineered case by case.
Where no control path exists at any price, VP4 corrects at signal level instead: 4-channel 3G-SDI, 12-vector multimatrix, black gamma, soft knee, 3D LUT import.
What this actually buys you
Case-by-case engineering
Bridging a closed body through a third-party lens controller is normal work here, not an exception.
Honest limits
Where nothing helps, we say nothing helps. That list is published.
Signal-level fallback
A camera with no protocol still matches the show through VP4.
Power on the same run
PoE+ through CI0 feeds the camera, so a specialty position needs one cable.
A RED V-Raptor with Fujinon Duvo glass, bridged through a third-party lens controller. The kind of integration that gets engineered once, then documented so the next crew does not have to discover it live.

Does your show look like this?
Send the bodies and the lens control you have, or do not have. You will get an answer from an engineer, including the parts we cannot do.
